About Brooks Verschoyle
I am currently a senior at the University of Mississippi pursuing a degree in Real Estate. In addition, I am a member of the Eta chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity as well as the Ole Miss Student Real Estate Society. My anticipated graduation date is May 2026. Throughout my high school career, I was blessed to achieve several academic and social honors and worked multiple seasonal jobs throughout that time that provided leadership opportunities, skill development, social engagement, and more. Throughout high school, I worked at Northwood Country Club in Dallas in the summers of 2021 and 2022 as Head Lifeguard. I also worked as a hunting guide for Matador Resources Company in the fall and winter of 2021, 2022, and 2023. In the summer of 2023, I was fortunate enough to work as a regulatory intern for Matador Resources Company. During that summer, I worked with both Regulatory and Land Departments. During the summer I worked on regulatory drafting, filing, and preparing regulatory permits and other curative legal documents and mailings with New Mexico OCD software. In addition, I helped Land create a list identifying all ownership and leasehold interests in all producing and non producing wells in targeted areas. In the summer of 2024, I was fortunate enough to return to Matador as a Land Intern. Throughout the summer I worked in the Land Department completing my summer project which was to set up and green-light a future set of wells to be drilled.Through this project I drafted maps, plats, and survey plans in the development stage. Through this project I ran the title connected to this unit, as well as, compiled lists of and contacted working interest owner in order to acquire more working interest for Matador. At the end of the summer I presented my summer project to over 40 full-time Matador employees and executives.
