Associate Investment Counsellor at BMO Private Investment Counsel, working alongside Taryn Gunnlaugson (Senior Investment Counsellor) to provide discretionary portfolio management and coordinated wealth planning for high-net-worth and ultra high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts and foundations. As a CPA and CFA® charter holder, I integrate analytical discipline with practical and personal advice, collaborating with BMO specialists across Trust & Estate, Tax, Business Succession, Philanthropy, and Private Banking to build strategies that grow, protect, and transition wealth. Our counsel‑led, discretionary model offers structure, oversight, and freedom from day‑to‑day investment decisions, so clients can focus on what matters most. I am based and raised in Ottawa, but I hold fond memories all over Canada. I studied at St. Francis Xavier University (St. FX) and still try to get back out East whenever I can. A short study stint in Toronto lined up perfectly with the 2019 NBA Championship, and then I spent three years living and working in downtown Calgary. Those experiences shaped how I show up for clients today—grounded, curious and energized—now back home in Ottawa.
