ABOUT NICHOLAS BROOKES
Hello! I\'m Nicholas, a Slovak-British Year 13 student driven by the intersection of business, politics and global affairs. Alongside my academic efforts I always strive to find ways to expand my intellectual capabilities by accepting challenges and stepping outside my comfort zone. From earning the role of Model United Nations Prefect at school to facilitating cultural exchange along scouts across multiple international jamborees, I am deeply committed to my community and to making a difference. These initiatives along with my attitude and passion have earned me the Chief Scout\'s Platinum Award, multiple school academic and extracurricular awards, and recognition in some areas from mathematics (UKMT Senior Maths Challenge Bronze Award) to community impact (4 time school Ambassador and 2 time House Captain). These experiences and initiatives blessed me with necessary skills to perform critical reasoning, discipline, public speaking, problem solving and understand the value of diverse ideas- skills I intend to carry into the next stages of my professional journey.As I prepare to pursue business and management in university my goal is to deepen my understanding of the world and to one day positively contribute to the global finance scene. I am eager to connect with peers and professionals that share these interests and who believe in the power of collaboration to drive change.
