I’m a strategic thinker and supportive housing advocate with 25 years of experience in the human services field. My career has spanned managing systems change, nonprofit organizations and government programs at both the state and local levels. Currently, I serve as the Managing Director of the Western Region at CSH, where I support the field operations across California, the Mountain West, Northwest, and Southwest geography’s to increase the availability and quality of supportive housing.My work is focused on improving systems and resources to create sustainable housing solutions for individuals and families facing significant barriers to accessing and maintaining affordable housing. This involves not only supporting CSH\'s operations but also promoting better policies and practices across sectors such as healthcare, justice, child welfare, aging, youth, and homelessness.Some of my key accomplishments include: Advocating for a permanent account in the Governor’s budget for the Nevada Supportive Housing Development Account, resulting in bipartisan support for the first permanent funding source for supportive services in Nevada with an additional investment of $21 million by the Nevada Legislature in 2025. Developing and advocating for the Nevada Supportive Housing Development Fund, resulting in the first dedicated funding source for supportive services in Nevada with an initial investment of $32.2 million by the Nevada Legislature in 2023. Leading efforts through CSH’s Supportive Housing Institute to increase the supportive housing stock by over 800 units in Texas and 500 units in Arizona since 2020. Expanding the number of service providers, developers, and mission-driven property managers involved in supportive housing across the Southwest United States. Making a compelling business case for supportive housing in Washoe County, NV, driving local support and investment in these critical services.I\'m deeply passionate about serving the community and creating new opportunities for supportive housing. My goal is to ensure that people with complex barriers can find long-term housing solutions tailored to their unique needs.
