ABOUT BROOKE TUMSAROCH

Brooke Tumsaroch currently serves as Design Director and Associate for EDG Interior Architecture and Design, overseeing luxury F&B and Hotel projects worldwide. Brooke has an immense and broad portfolio of luxury and lifestyle hotel and restaurant projects. She is also very passionate about design management and delivering every project on time and on budget.Brooke is currently directing design on luxury hospitality and food and beverage projects across the US, Central America, and Asia. During her tenure in Chicago, Brooke started and led the ForrestPerkins Chicago Office, and served as Associate Principal for 2 years. Brooke had previously worked as a Senior Designer and Associate with ForrestPerkins, in their DC office, specializing in luxury hospitality projects, working with brands such as Renaissance, Hilton, Fairmont, and independent hoteliers. Brooke\'s career also took her abroad, where she worked for AvroKO as Design Director in the Bangkok, Thailand office for 5 years. There, she oversaw luxury F&B Interior Design projects across Asia and the Middle East. In this role, she worked with brands such as Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, Shangri-la, Rosewood, and Waldorf Astoria. Brooke is a NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer and holds a MFA in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design as well as a BA in Fine Art from the University of Iowa. Brooke also spent time working in Education and served as the Chair of Interior Design for the Corcoran College of Art and Design’s Master of Interior Design Program, in Washington, DC for over 2 years. While in this role, she also served as an Associate Faculty member to the Department. Brooke has also been heavily involved in her professional organizations and in February 2016 was the Keynote Speaker for the ASID National Student Convention, ASID Launch, at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She was also the President of the American Society of Interior Designers Washington DC Chapter, from 20••••12. She has been an avid volunteer for the organization since 2004.
