Perform quality control review of Freddie Mac \"non-performing\" loans to determine overall investment quality and alignment with credit philosophy. Access Seller/Servicer contracts, non-performing loan review guidelines and other tools required to complete the reviews. Evaluate the loan file for credit, collateral and capacity to determine deficiencies. Determine the appropriate remedy for deficiencies. Enter findings into Quantum (internal data input system), validating/updating data based on the loan file. Prepare repurchase letters, if needed. Manage pipeline in compliance with priority underwriting guidelines. Perform in-depth investigative work and or research with a focus on suspected false representation. Identify and monitor adverse trends and report findings.Predominantly DU, LP or CLUES usage provided in sampled loan files in which an audit was to be performed.
