ABOUT BROOKE PORTLAND
I am a sophomore at Wake Forest University with an intended major in finance and a minor in entrepreneurship. Throughout my first two semesters at Wake Forest, I have joined clubs such as Best Buddies and Wake Investment, while also becoming an initiated member of the Chi Omega Fraternity. In addition to clubs, I have participated in campus-wide activities such as Wake n Shake.Outside of Wake Forest, I have worked at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute for the past three years, currently as a data analyst intern and previously as a medical scribe. In addition, I worked as a lifeguard at a nearby country club last summer. These jobs have taught me the importance of communication and leadership skills.Currently, I am pursuing opportunities to learn about careers in the finance and consulting world through internships. My leadership, organization, problem-solving, and communication strengths will continue to develop in a business environment and assist my future experience.
