I am responsible for the verification of the health of Seaboard Foods swine herds through direct interaction with company producers, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and best production practices. I work directly with the production management team and veterinary services team in regards to diagnostic initiatives, planning health and vaccination programs, monitoring health on-farm, influencing biosecurity matrix, overseeing medication/vaccination use & implementation, and regulatory compliance. I oversee Seaboard Foods’ animal welfare programs. I am directly responsible for our sow base in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Colorado.
