In my role as Director of Membership Development, I have the opportunity to meet with businesses and organizations all around Central IL and show them the benefits of becoming a member of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce. I oversee all new members onboarding and I am the first point of contact when an organization joins the Chamber. I oversee all retention efforts to retain our existing members as well, including supervising our Chamber intern as they act as membership support. I sell all the Chamber\'s advertising, helping members select which forms of advertising work best for them and help them to implement advertising campaigns. I also create advertising packages and contracts. I oversee our Ambassador committee, which is made up of 30 of our seasoned Chamber members. I organize our monthly meetings, write the meeting agendas, assign new members to Ambassadors to make contact with and maintain the Ambassadors calendar of Chamber events. I also facilitate the selection of new Ambassadors on a yearly basis. I plan and host our Chamber\'s monthly networking lunch for our members which includes securing a new venue every month for the lunches, securing a sponsorship every month for the lunch, planning the menu and facilitating the speed networking portion of the lunch.I schedule all ribbon cuttings for our members and promote the ribbon cuttings via social media, calendar invites and the Chamber\'s website.I attend all Chamber networking functions including Business Before Hours, Business After Hours, ribbon cuttings, open houses, networking lunches, ect. I photograph most Chamber events and post them to the Chamber\'s social media including Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
