About Brooke Dunkley
I’m a highly motivated biomedical engineering student with a passion for research and musculoskeletal health. I received my bachelor\'s degree from the NC State & UNC Chapel Hill Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering in May of 2025, with concentrations in rehabilitation engineering and biosignals & imaging. I am currently interning at BD in Research Triangle Park with their interventional innovation team doing early product prototyping and testing. In August, I will begin pursuing my PhD in biomedical engineering at Wake Forest University, focusing on computational injury biomechanics.

Part-time in spring 2025, full-time in summer 2025- Leading the design, simulation, and testing of fluid mixing components for a product being developed in the interventional innovation department- Assisting with developing test methods for ex-vivo tissue adhesion using an Instron and a flow loop
