ABOUT BROOKE DAVIS

I am a pre-medical student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Certificate in Business Fundamentals, with a strong cumulative GPA of 3.91. My academic journey has been enriched by hands-on experiences in laboratory research and clinical settings. At WI Institutes for Medical Research, I serve as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Faust Lab. In this role, I actively contribute to daily laboratory operations and fundamental experiments, including DNA extraction and PCR. I also had the opportunity to contribute to a publication,\"Modeling Lung Endothelial Dysfunction in Sepsis-Associated ARDS Using a Microphysiological System.\" I also serve as a Biology Peer Mentor for UW Biology Major Advising. In this role, I provide academic and personal guidance to first and second-year Biology majors, sharing insights for success in the classroom and navigating the wealth of campus resources and bioscience opportunities available. I am eager to leverage my academic background, research experience, and passion for biology, research and healthcare in future endeavors in the medical field.
