About Brooke A. Soares

I desire to live every day of my professional and personal life with intent; reaching the hearts and minds of college students through authentic friendship and helping them lead virtue driven lives. Through my academic pursuit of Communication Studies I have nurtured my innate abilities to listen and lead, understanding that one must always do both in order to efficiently complete tasks and accomplish goals for the common good. In leadership positions and the work place, I have sought to constantly inspire others to believe in themselves and their worth. I have encouraged them to put their best foot forward by understanding their value as irreplicable individuals on personal and professional levels. In my field of study and in ministry, building relationships is at the heart of what we do. Our work is based on relationship so it is imperative that I exercise high emotional intelligence, social awareness, and appropriate verbal and nonverbal communication with individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and understandings. We all come to the table with our own set of circumstances but we each have a seat, are welcome, known, loved, and cared for.
