I’m K’Nickole Carothers—a passionate creative, storyteller, and Executive Producer of my first independent feature film, written/directed and produced by @AnnetteGalloway and JAF FILMS - “DETOURED DESTINY: More Than Friends”. I studied Theater at Columbia College Chicago and have spent years working both in front of the camera and behind the scenes—living, learning, and creating through every stage. As an Artist and Creatrix at heart, I’m deeply committed to storytelling in all its forms. My experience spans a wide range of independent film roles, including Casting Director/Consultant, Script Supervisor, Assistant Director, and Unit Production Manager. This hands-on journey has shaped me into a producer with both creative vision and practical execution. As an actor, I bring emotional depth, presence, and authenticity to every performance. Whether on stage or screen, I approach each role with intention and a genuine desire to connect with the audience. Currently, I’m laser-focused on completing our film, securing an episodic contract, and transitioning full-time into producing and acting. These are big goals—but I’m locked in, grounded in purpose, and energized by the work. Whether I’m leading a set, performing, or building creative teams, I bring a warm, vibrant presence and a people-first mindset to everything I do.
