About Brock Warmerdam
Having the privilege to grow up in Lodi and work in my families Vineyards, I was able to learn at a young age what goes into making a quality wine grape. I have always had a passion for grape growing and wine making. I went to Fresno State to further my knowledge from strictly what I had learned on the viticultural side and viniculture to include the chemistry it takes to turn the grapes to wine (and to so many more products). I was lucky enough to take an internship with E&J Gallo in Fresno and worked under Tim Holt and his wine making team and it allowed me to grow and see the larger production side of the industry. From there, I knew I wanted to be back in Lodi. I missed my family, I missed my nieces, nephews and siblings. I then was blessed with an opportunity to continue to grow and learn with Thomas Allen Winery and they gave me the opportunity I’ve dreamed of, to be a Lodi Winemaker so I am grateful and very excited to see what that company can do, a winery that has great potential. They allowed me to have management responsibilities but helped create two amazing wines on which we got a 90 and 92 point rating in Wine Enthusiast which was a great accomplish. It was a very accomplishing feeling that I’ll always be proud of. Since then, I’ve continued to be blessed with an opportunity at Scotto’s Family Cellars to continue my career in Lodi and learn among some of the top leaders in the wine industry today. This continued as I have transitioned a little over a year and some change - to LangeTwins Family Winery and Vineyards. I have had amazing opportunities to work with few of the top leaders in the industry and I have been lucky enough to be given opportunity to grow in my career, I can do nothing but be thankful and continue to learn and grow with each adventure I take on and overcome.
