Initiate onboarding for newly hired employees and enter position information, compensation, and employee details into payroll software (Workday/ADP). Partner with Talent Acquisition Team on onboarding status, start date changes, and resolve any onboarding issues that may arise- Process employee transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and title changes. Write and send change letters to employees when applicable. Partner with the Payroll Team to ensure pay is captured accurately on the next paycheck, changes to exemption status, and if retro pay is owed- Coordinate with managers and functional leaders through each step of the yearly merit increase process. Ensure that proposed changes are within the rules of the policy and that all changes are captured accurately in payroll- Assisted with data migration on payroll software conversion from ADP to Workday. Learned important aspects/setup of the HCM piece of Workday. Participated in implementation calls with 3rd party implementation vendor. Validated data to ensure correct information was carried over- Assisted in training other HR partners on process changes/navigation in Workday- Perform market value analyses on positions and present findings to managers/directors to inform them on how their employees’ pay compares to the market- Create custom reports for directors/managers on department information, compensation, anniversaries, and other employee related topics- Provide assistance to employees on various HR topics such as payroll system navigation/troubleshooting, benefits, policy, and compensation- Pull data for AAP and EEO reporting.
