ABOUT BROCK CHEUNG

I\'ve been hooked on technology ever since I started building Minecraft servers as a kid. Tinkering with computers and figuring out how they work has always been my thing – building my first one at 13 was a major milestone! Now, I\'m pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from the SANS Technology Institute to turn that passion into protecting people online. My past roles gave me a strong foundation in security and IT operations—from supporting identity and access management at the State of Missouri, to spearheading digital literacy and compliance initiatives in the nonprofit sector. Each step helped me bridge technical problem-solving with security strategy, preparing me to take on enterprise-scale challenges in cybersecurity. Currently, I serve as a Cyber Security Technician at Dodge City Public Schools (USD443), where I strengthen the district’s security posture through enterprise-grade solutions. My work includes deploying and managing endpoint detection and response (EDR) across thousands of devices, designing identity security controls in Microsoft Entra ID, and implementing vulnerability management strategies that measurably reduce risk.
