About Bryan Robben
Master Evidence Technician Bryan Robben is a 21-year veteran of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and is a current member of the Criminal Investigative Section of the Investigations and Intelligence Division. He has processed and collected evidence from numerous crime scenes ranging from basic thefts to murders. He was promoted to the rank of Corporal with the Enforcement Division in 2013. During his time with the Sheriff’s Office he has been assigned to a number of specialized units including The Over-The-Rhine Taskforce, the Drone Unit, the Heavy Weapons Unit, the Pepper Ball Unit, the Bike Patrol Unit, and is a Crisis Intervention Team Trained Officer. Corporal Robben has both a Bachelor Degree and Master Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and has over 3,200 hours in Law Enforcement specific training across multiple job related disciplines. Prior to fulltime employment Corporal Robben was a member of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Explorer / Cadet Program, a police recruit, and a part-time Special Deputy. Since 1996 Corporal Robben has observed, experienced, and been part of most types of critical incidents and investigations that a Law Enforcement Officer has the potential to experience. As a Field Training Officer he was responsible for training eighteen members of the Enforcement Division. During his involvement with the Cadet / Explorer Program he has also mentored dozens of youth, most of which moved on towards a career in law enforcement-related fields. Master Evidence Technician Robben currently has the honor of being a member of a number of professional organizations including: the Association for Crime Scene Reconstruction, the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, and the Ohio Identification Officers Association.
