I’m passionate about using technology to open doors—for students, teachers, and communities. In my role as Director of Information Technology for Birmingham City Schools, I work every day to bridge innovation and equity—helping educators reimagine what’s possible in the classroom through thoughtful systems, data, and design.My journey spans higher education, government contracting, and K–12 leadership, but my mission has always been the same: to use technology to help people thrive. Whether I’m leading district AI initiatives, supporting EdTech specialists, or developing policies that protect student data, I believe in putting people first and leading with purpose.Outside the district, I run Written Write LLC, where we help individuals and organizations tell their stories with strategy, heart, and clarity. From resumes and proposals to business branding and digital storytelling, I believe words—and technology—can change lives when used with intention.Being multifaceted is my compounding asset.
