   Therapy Center is a private pediatric occupational therapy practice that provides services for children within the Santa Clara County. At AVCTC we offer comprehensive sensory-based occupational therapy services for clients and their families who are living with Sensory Processing Disorder, attention deficit disorder, autism spectrum disorder, emotional and behavioral disorder, sensory-based learning disorders, and other developmental concerns. We strongly believe in and utilize the world-renowned STAR Center’s unique treatment model which is centered on arousal regulation, engagement and social relationships, and parent education and coaching. Our primary goals include- To enable our clients and their families to experience joy and satisfaction in life - To provide high quality, evidence-based treatment that is individualized for each child- To be a go-to resource within the Bay Area to educate, empower and support families in their discovery of who their child is- To support families as they learn to problem solve and create a sensory lifestyle that works within their family system- To contribute to the research in order to advance the knowledge regard SPD and the effectiveness of occupational therapy treatment
