I’ve been with BC Ferries for 14 years, which I have spent at our flagship terminal. My career has grown alongside the teams I’ve worked with, starting on the front line and gradually moving into leadership roles.I’ve learned that good operations rely just as much on strong communication and teamwork as they do on processes and SOPs. I try to lead in a way that’s supportive, steady, and clear, and I’m always working to create a positive environment where people feel respected and set up for success.Much of my focus has been on coordinating day-to-day operations, supporting new leaders, and finding practical solutions to the issues that come up in a fast-paced, public-facing setting. I enjoy working across departments and helping connect the dots between ship and shore.Above all, I care about doing good work, being reliable, and helping others feel confident in theirs.
