ABOUT BRITTNEY GROSS

As a former clinical dietitian turned data analyst, I offer a unique perspective honed through 5 years of working bedside to help patients solve problems while paying close attention to details. While serving as the Treasurer for a local dietitian organization for several terms and driving business decisions with data, I became fascinated by the diverse application data offers. My passion to use problem solving, critical thinking, and the ability to learn quickly, has led me to transition into a data analytics position where I can help businesses make data driven decisions. Some of my notable projects include: • Staffing Distribution: Strategically assigned key medical staff head of the flu season using Excel, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Tableau for data visualization. • Ecommerce Buying Patterns: Examined data to identify the correlation between customer buying behavior and ecommerce marketing strategy using NumPy, pandas, Jupyter, matplotlib, and Excel. • Market Research: Conducted analysis to identify opportunities for a movie rental shop’s transition to an online service using Tableau, Excel, and SQL queries. • Advanced Exploratory Analysis in Python: Performed geospatial, linear regression, cluster, and time-series analyses to find patterns in global terrorism attacks.
