ABOUT BRITTNEY COOPER
Hello! I am a graduate student in Public Health with a concentration in Behavioral Health, with a strong foundation in both the biological and social sciences. My work is centered on improving behavioral health outcomes through program implementation, evaluation, and community-based approaches.Through my academic training and applied experience, I have developed a deep interest in implementation science, specifically how evidence-based interventions can be effectively adapted, delivered, and sustained within real-world settings. I am especially passionate about advancing equitable access to behavioral health services for underserved populations, including youth and communities impacted by structural disparities. My current work includes contributing to the cultural adaptation and implementation of a community-based social-emotional learning program, where I engage in program development, stakeholder collaboration, and evaluation planning. These experiences have strengthened my skills in translating research into practice and designing programs that are both impactful and culturally responsive.I am seeking opportunities in behavioral health program implementation, development, and evaluation where I can contribute to building sustainable, community-centered interventions that improve mental health outcomes.
