ABOUT BRITTNEY CHONG
I am a first year resident at Duke Family Medicine. I obtained my MD from Weill Cornell Medical College in 2025 with an interest in geriatrics, health equity, and medical education. I have a passion for fixing the leaky pipeline for URM students to become physicians, and hope to continue giving and receiving mentorship throughout my career. During my career at WCMC, I acted as co-president of the first-generation/low-income club, co-chair of the Family Medicine Interest Group, outreach chair of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA), and secretary of the Latino Medical Students Association (LMSA), amongst other roles. I graduated from Earlham College in May of 2021, where I majored in neuroscience and minored in chemistry and medical humanities as a Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society Inductee, Psi Chi International Psychology Honor Society Inductee, Bonner Scholar, and captain of the Women\'s Varsity Golf team. When I am not working, I enjoy dancing, traveling, community service, and playing golf and lacrosse.
