They say most people “fall into” Human Resources, and I’ve found that to be true, but I’ve always had my sights set on it. While studying at the UNM Anderson School of Management, I knew HR was the goal 🥅, even if the journey to get here wasn’t exactly a straight line.What I bring to the table is a rich, unconventional background that’s shaped my people-first approach and deep appreciation for the human experience at work. From rolling the perfect in the restaurant industry to skiing backwards to coach terrified beginners down the mountain, and eventually running a successful nail tech business for six years. I’ve worn many hats and learned what makes people tick in very different settings.Each stop along the way taught me something essential: how to build trust, solve problems, think creatively, and hustle with heart. These aren’t just soft skills, they’re superpowers that I bring into every HR interaction.What I love most about HR is the chance to connect with people, create structure where it’s needed, and bring clarity and support to complex challenges.
