About Brittany H
I am a senior humanitarian responder with wide-ranging experience in complex settings, including conflict, displacement, disease outbreak, and natural disasters. I deploy to emergencies around the world to manage relief programs or lead program and strategy development, fundraising, communications, and grants management. Deployments and remote response support include Ukraine (\'24); Syria (\'22-\'23); Zimbabwe (\'22); Haiti (\'21-\'22); Cabo Delgado (\'21); Tigray (\'20-\'21); Iraq (‘20) Eastern DRC/Ebola (\'19-\'20); Mozambique Cyclones Response (\'19); and Bangladesh Rohingya Refugee Response (\'17-\'18). This field experience complements four years of headquarters experience in awards management and management of surge team personnel, operations, and finance. Prior to humanitarian response, I supported programming in development contexts, including the start-up of a democracy and governance program in Liberia, field research in Burkina Faso to evaluate the efficacy of a World Bank program three years after its implementation, and as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon. In 2017, I completed a master’s degree in international development, specializing in humanitarian assistance.
