About Brittany A. Reeves

Energy, optimism, curiosity, and wit - the four pillars of my daily life. When those fail, caffeine, adrenaline, and bad puns certainly have proven to be reliable back-ups. Every day is a new opportunity to exceed and excel, but it\'s also just as important to serve the teammates that help make it all possible. It\'s cool to be kind, and those are the kind of people I want to be around. Good thing I have a lot of energy because the last few years of my career have certainly required it (foreshadowing based on client slogan \"Energy lives here.\") I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. After college, I worked for the Engineering firm Entex Technologies Inc, a small industrial and municipal wastewater treatment engineering start-up in the Triangle area of NC. After gaining a wealth of experience in the engineering an start-up space, I decided I wanted to get into another field that was still analytical but not necessarily ingrained so heavily in science. I landed quickly after making that decision at EMMsphere, a marketing operations consulting firm headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The position and opportunities for growth at this medium-sized entrepreneurial software advisory and managed-services firm enabled me to work with Marketing professionals at several Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries to be able to advise on not only software needs and best practices for the client, but also identify process weaknesses and areas to consolidate and streamline a client\'s marketing processes. My continuously-evolving role at EMMsphere has allowed me to gain exposure to and travel the world designing, implementing, and training marketing professional roles from senior management to partner agencies on the global marketing software I now manage daily alongside a vast internal and external client team network for ExxonMobil. I am passionate about all things regarding North Carolina, as well as equal access to education, health, and fitness resources, and I enjoy reading, running, lifting weights, and outdoor activities such as hiking and climbing. Specifics include but are not limited to- UNC sports, every single one of them - Hiking every peak in NC, as well as all major peaks on the West Coast - Participating in as many sports and physical activities as I still can - Bible study - Innovative investing strategies - Airport and hotel lounge exploration across the globe - Getting to know and learning from every person I encounter in this world
