ABOUT BRITTANY SMITH
I have been a Certified Child Life Specialist since 2011. I am the coordinator of the Child Life clinical practicum program at Lurie Children\'s Hospital. I am a member of the hospital\'s human equality index committee, which works to ensure our hospital is constantly evaluating and growing in how we can best serve the LGBTQ community.I have presented across the country to Healthcare professionals on how to be better practitioners for the LGBTQ community. I have also given presentations for the National Kidney Association, Liver Community Alliance and a webinar for national pediatric transplant week with UNOS
