Responsibilities of the Plant Support Engineering department include monitoring, assessing, and improving the performance and reliability of individual systems and components as well as implementation of Engineering Programs. • Implementation of the following Engineering Programs- In-service Testing (10CFR50.55a; ASME OM Code; NUREG-1482)- Containment Leak Rate Testing (10CFR50 Appendix J, Option B; NEI 94-01)- System Pressure Testing (10CFR50.55a, ASME BPV Code Section XI)- Integrated System Leakage Assessment Testing (Technical Specification 6.8.4.a)- Service Water System Reliability (NRC Generic Letter 89-13) • System systems while providing support for outage and emergent mechanical-related activities. Engineer assigned responsibility for the Component Cooling and Service Water • Direct performance of VT-2 visual examinations and oversight of all system pressure testing and integrated system leakage assessment testing surveillances. • Compilation of the Service Water System Reliability and In-Service Testing Aging Management Program (GALL AMP XI.M20) in support of the Plant Life Extension Program for Subsequent License Renewal.
