ABOUT BRITTANY MACK

Rooted in my experience as a teacher and instructional leader, my work in academic strategy is guided by a commitment to educational equity, rigor, and measurable student impact. Driving the academic strategy at KIPP Indy Public Schools, I have set the vision and led instructional design grounded in data analysis, intentional progress monitoring, and teacher development through real-time coaching —ensuring that strategies are not only high-quality but responsive to the specific needs of diverse student groups. In July, I will be stepping into the role of Director of Academic Strategy & Partnerships at Proficiency Builders in Indianapolis; I bring a systems-level approach to closing proficiency gaps, with expertise on foundational K–8 literacy. I’m passionate about developing literacy models that are research-aligned, culturally responsive, and tailored to accelerate student growth in the wake of urgent national learning needs. My leadership is shaped by a belief that every student deserves targeted, thoughtfully designed instruction—and that strong strategy must begin with listening: to data, to students, to teachers, and to community. By aligning instructional goals with clear metrics, coaching systems, and cross-sector partnerships, I strive to build educational experiences that are equitable, coherent, and deeply impactful.
