Brittany Marshall is an Emmy award-winning producer and communicator with more than 10 years of communications and broadcast journalism experience. Currently under the role of Press Secretary for the Lt. Governor of Maryland, Brittany serves as the sole social media manager, speech writer, media relations point of contact and content creator. Previously, she used her media expertise to develop strategic and crisis communications messaging for the 13th largest transit agency in the country, Maryland Transit Administration. Brittany managed the entire broadcast operations and media relations team. Brittany\'s producer work covering the March for our Lives Rally and the Ellicott City Flooding earned her an Emmy award for Weekend Newscast and an Emmy nomination for Spot News. She has experience managing a newsroom as an Interim Assistant News Director and working in the field as a political and general assignment reporter.
