I get to witness some of the biggest moments in peoples lives - and that\'s why I love my job! Watching a teenager smile ear to ear for their very first driver\'s license photo, the achievement of becoming a homeowner, the prospect of traveling the world when getting your passport, or the pride of opening your own business, I have the privilege of partaking in some very special moments. Sewing deep connections into the fabric of my community has always been a priority in my life, not only in my career, but also in my spare time. I enjoy volunteering for Montgomery County events like Elves Day Out and Youth Day, serving our seniors as Second Vice President of the Montgomery County Office for Aging Operating Board, and pursuing \"Service Above Self\" as a Rotarian and President-Elect of the Amsterdam Rotary Club - District 7190. I currently lead a team of 15 staff across two departments, where I’ve driven innovative projects, enhanced customer service, and achieved record-breaking revenues. Notably, I was the first County Clerk in New York to develop a mobile app, and under my leadership, the Fonda DMV became one of the highest-rated in the state. In my tenure as County Clerk, I have modernized the County Clerk\'s office by establishing E-Recording of all land records, E-filing of court documents, and remote online searching of public records; as it pertains to Department of Motor Vehicles, I have made customer-focused, efficient service a priority by introducing an appointment service, a fast lane for quick and simple transactions, an information window, and later, more convenient lobby hours.
