Through my employment as an Advisor at Standguide, I support individuals to overcome barriers and move into sustainable employment. My role centres around building strong relationships with jobseekers and employers, understanding recruitment needs, and creating opportunities that lead to meaningful, long-term outcomes.Through my work, I have developed experience in employer engagement, recruitment, and business development, working closely with local organisations to connect talent with opportunity and deliver tailored support.Alongside my professional role, I run Vocals by Britt, a wedding and events singing business. This allows me to combine my creative background with my passion for delivering high-quality, client-focused experiences. I manage all aspects of the business, including marketing, client communication, and performance delivery across weddings, private events, and corporate functions.Running my own business has strengthened my skills in communication, branding, and audience engagement, which naturally complement my work within employability and stakeholder engagement.Outside of my day-to-day role, I enjoy continuing to grow Vocals by Britt, creating memorable experiences through live music and building a brand that reflects both professionalism and creativity, with a long-term focus on growth within the events industry.
