As a Healthcare Communications, Senior in the Biomedical and Food Regulation Division within the Center for Transforming Health (CTH), a Federally Funded Research Development Center (FFRDC), I provided subject matter expertise on numerous teams with sponsor work for FDA, CMS, FAA, HHS/OS, VA, and IRS as well as internal work with MITRE Corporate Social Innovation (CSI) through conducting research assessments, preparing materials for MITRE sponsor, learning new software and creating groundbreaking risk analysis models. • Maximized sponsors use of risk analysis tool, BowTieXP, to assess health safety for the first time, as the sponsor usually uses the tool to assess mechanical or infrastructure risk. • Co-led a major federal sponsor project as the Deputy Project Lead (previously filled by two levels my senior) and increased Quality Assessment scores in at least 8 different criteria and more than half of all criteria being ranked at the highest score. Won the 2025 BEYA – Modern Day Technology Leader award as a result of this work.• Managed sponsor engagement with about 40% of an entire organization (Div/Deps) to assess the sponsors response to the pandemic. Responsible for transcription, coding, and finding themes through interview.• Strengthened the awareness and comprehension of telehealth and telemedicine among sponsor, empowering the development of efficient telehealth strategies and promote improved healthcare results.• Increased awareness and knowledge with Corporate Social Innovation by creating internal use materials for better engagement and increased recruitment at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).• Actively researches immerging issues and pitch research or work shaping ideas. • Promoted Corporate stewardship by serving as Co-Chair of MITRE’s Black Culture Network (BCN)’s Recruitment & Outreach Committee, Lead of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Community of Practice and Co-Coordinator of the Health Lab Talks Series.
