As Associate Director of Mentor Recruitment & Engagement at iMentor Baltimore, I don’t just fill seats I build a movement. My role is about creating sustainable systems that bring mentors and students together in ways that are intentional, transformative, and lasting.I design and lead recruitment strategies that reach professionals across industries and communities, inviting them into the sacred work of mentorship. Through storytelling, partnerships, and creative campaigns, I translate the call to mentor into an irresistible invitation. Each connection is not only about matching a mentor with a mentee, but about cultivating legacy the kind of relationships that ripple into families, schools, and neighborhoods.Once mentors step into our community, I ensure they feel equipped and inspired. I deliver dynamic orientations that prepare mentors for real impact, weaving together the practical tools they need with the deeper “why” that sustains their commitment. Engagement doesn’t end after orientation — I curate ongoing events, learning opportunities, and touchpoints that keep mentors connected, valued, and growing alongside their students.My approach blends strategy and creativity: I track data and metrics to refine outreach, but I also infuse every campaign with energy, culture, and authenticity. Whether it’s activating corporate partners, designing retention practices, or sparking grassroots buzz, my goal is the same — to build a vibrant mentor community that champions Baltimore students.In this role, I am not just a recruiter.
