About Brittany Garza
I am a queer, third generation, Latinx individual who uses a holistic, somatic, trauma-informed, liberation-focused, womanist, and multi-cultural approach to treating individuals with mental health disorders. I believe everyone has the right to live a healthy, happy, life filled with meaning and self-transcendence. My goal is to help clients merge their left to right brain connection, thus increasing emotional intelligence and emotional regulation. Mediums I enjoy using during the therapeutic process include (but are not limited to); art, writing, dance, music, meditation, gardening, yoga, and being with nature. I hope to empower clients with increasing self- acceptance, as it is okay to be different. Each one of us has something to contribute to mankind. In addition to focusing on the presenting problem, I want to help clients nourish their mind, body, and soul. No one should ever have to feel like they have to be something they are not. It is an honor to assist clients in breaking down their learned behavior patterns and attachment styles from childhood during our therapeutic journey.
