WORK HISTORY
Head of Information Technology @Philo
San Francisco, CA, US
As the lead IT resource at Philo, I oversee all aspects of IT operations, managing a mix of small team of an MSP, IT interns and tier 1 helpdesk while driving the strategy and execution across A/V, network infrastructure, and endpoint security. I have taken deliberate ownership of Philo’s security posture, leading efforts to strengthen it from both an endpoint and user perspective and collaborating on cloud security— reducing risk and delivering measurable financial impact, including reductions in cybersecurity insurance premiums. Collaborating across teams, I have been able to translate business needs into actionable IT strategy.A key initiative I spearheaded was the design and rollout of a company-wide Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) program, incorporating automation to streamline provisioning and de-provisioning at scale. Beyond security, I drive projects including network upgrades, office relocations, and the evaluation of new tools through security reviews, pilot programs and POCs — ensuring Philo adopts the right technologies for its evolving needs. Whether troubleshooting daily IT issues or leading long-term strategic initiatives, I serve as the end-to-end IT function for the company.
