ABOUT BRITTANY COOPER
Hi there! I am a second-year student in the Rutgers University Genetic Counseling Master\'s Program and am preparing to graduate in May 2025. My clinical experience includes counseling patients and families in both English and Spanish across prenatal, pediatric, adult and cancer genetics. My research focuses on the discrepancies between germline and somatic testing laboratories in the reporting of cancer predisposition variants. As a former teacher with the New York City Department of Education, I have a unique understanding of the special education system and the supports available to patients and families.
