I support organizations that want to engage and support Black mothers in ways that are meaningful, culturally responsive, and rooted in trust.I’m the founder of Black Muva Convos, a community care model designed around a simple but often overlooked truth:care works best when it’s relational, not transactional.My work centers conversation-based wellness experiences that help black mothers release stress, regulate emotionally, and reconnect with themselves while helping organizations learn how to show up without overstepping or performing care.I design and facilitate community care workshops, guided conversations, and partnership-based experiences that prioritize presence, safety, and lived experience over programming for optics.This work is not therapy and not a lecture.It’s structured community care in practice.Before building Black Muva Convos, I spent years as a Baltimore City Public School special educator, supporting students and families navigating complex systems, emotional stress, and unmet needs. That experience deeply informs how I approach wellness, access, and care with empathy, structure, and intention.I hold a Master’s in Special Education, a Master’s in Elementary Education, and a Bachelor’s in Journalism, a combination that allows me to educate, advocate, and tell stories that move people to action.Today, I partner with health organizations, wellness brands, community groups, and institutions that understand supporting mothers requires more than resources, it requires trust.If your organization works with mothers or caregivers and is rethinking how care should look, I’m open to connecting.
