About Brittany Bond

I am currently a Human Resources Business Partner at Gems Sensors & Controls. In my previous role, I was a Program Manager supporting the acquisition of Johnson & Johnson\'s Advanced Sterilization Products division. I also supported the Automation & Specialty and Sensing Technologies platforms through Fortive\'s Virginia-based operating company, Kollmorgen.In 2017, I graduated from West Virginia University with a Master\'s Degree in Industrial Relations. Between my first and second year of graduate school, I completed a Human Resources internship for La-Z-Boy, Inc. I also served as President of the Industrial Relations Student Association at WVU and was an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management. In 2016, I participated in the SHRM Student Case Competition for the Central region, in which my partner and I received second place. We returned to the Eastern region\'s competition in 2017 to claim first.In 2015, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, by majoring in Business Management and minoring in Leadership Studies. I also graduated Magna Cum Laude from WVU’s Honors College as a Presidential Scholar. While pursuing my education, I have been exposed to various aspects of business acumen, such as corporate social responsibility, human capital management, employment law, work group dynamics and leadership, etc. My knowledge and experience has led to my desire for a Human Resources position at a company that shares my values of leadership, integrity, and cultural/environmental stewardship. I hope to gain increased experience in a variety of HR functions, such as training & development, benefits, and talent acquisition. Most importantly, however, I would like to join a company that allows my communication, teamwork, and organizational skills to aid in the pursuit of their mission and goals.
