About Brittan S.
I once walked into an interview at a major university.Within minutes, it was obvious my “scrappy” background wasn’t what they wanted. They looked at small budgets and resource-strapped teams and saw a deficit. I saw 23 years of figuring it out. They still made me sit through the two-hour interview. If you’ve worked at a small m nonprofit, you’ve felt this. Dismissed by funders. Underestimated by Big Philanthropy. Advised by consultants who’ve never had to scale a $1M budget from zero. But budgets don’t equal impact. Small organizations move real change because they’re close to the work. Deeply embedded in the community. Because they’re creative. Because they’re stubborn. That’s the experience I bring.I’ve spent 15 years in social impact, with public sector roots going back to 2002. I’m a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), and I coach nonprofit fundraisers and teams, of all sizes, who are done guessing and ready for someone to co/create strategy that actually holds up.I also co-host The Nonprofit Podcast and advise technology teams building tools for nonprofits — pushing for systems that reflect how fundraising really works, not how someone imagines it.If your experience has ever been dismissed — I see you.And I know how to help you turn it into results.
