Starting my career in sales management at a Fortune 500 afforded me first-hand experience running a multi-million dollar department while engaging and motivating my team. I consistently exceeded sales goals and learned effective techniques for marketing, promoting and selling products, something I continue to do today as the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications at MJ Insurance, Indiana\'s largest independent insurance agency and one of the top 100 in the U.S. I\'ve advanced quickly in my nine years at MJ, reflecting my ability to successfully implement strategic programs and coordinate tactics across departments. I am a list-maker, a communicator, a conversationalist and a dedicated organizer. In my free time, I love travel and fine wine. A college internship program in Australia taught me to embrace differences and develop an inclusive style of working with teams. It sparked my gift of gab while also showing me I don\'t have all the answers. Above all, I am naturally curious and innovative – always looking for improved and more efficient ways to implement and execute projects.
