Function on a team in performing a wide variety of tests and procedures at a Level II Trauma Center and Level NICU. Incorporate vast experience and adaptability with patients and family members in a calm manner and create a positive atmosphere for patients from newborns to geriatrics. Train sonographers on pediatric procedures and new cardiac sonographer hires.Assist with Transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, Dobutamine stress echocardiograms, pericardial taps, left atrial appendage closure (LAAC), and provides visualization with ECMO. Use Definity image enhancement with wall motion abnormalities where indicated. Perform bubble studies for stroke patients. Help to assess heart function for One Legacy heart donation. Perform echocardiograms on the critical population of premature infants. Incorporate strong communication with RN\'s and doctors for best patient care. Additionally server on-call after-hours STAT procedures. Report all critical findings to cardiologists.
