Oversee governance across metadata, catalog, reference data, data quality, privacy alignment, and AI readiness with engineering, Global Technology, Privacy, Legal, and business teams.Key Contributions• Developed Marriott’s first DG scorecard and led a funded three‑month external benchmarking assessment—informing DG priorities and supporting expansion of the DG org from two to ~10 FTE in a transformational reorg.• Drive multi‑year DG roadmap and backlog, presenting updates to the Senior DG Subcommittee and partnering with Technology on annual planning (e.g, Agile/PI Planning) and initiative funding (>$1MM). My team also runs DG Council, managing agenda, materials, decisions, and actions. • Product Owner for the enterprise data catalog, modernized via Atlan—launch to 300+ users, integrating GenAI features, deploying metadata standards and trust signals, establishing an enterprise metrics repository, onboarding ~26 systems, and tagging CPD fields for GDPR/CCPA readiness.• Team oversees the Reference Data Management (Stibo) platform, supporting 50–60 data owners who steward 80+ datasets through approval workflows and governance processes.• Helping build an enterprise data quality and observability solution, evaluating vendors (piloting Bigeye), business use case definition, running current state workshops, and shaping the target‑state governance model for a multi‑year, enterprise‑scale solution.• Represent DG as a point of contact for multiple internal initiatives, advising on data readiness, ownership, and quality—including serving on a working team for a customer‑facing AI use case.
