I launched two websites since August. The first, http://consciousrush.com, is a nonfiction narrative that highlights my trip to last year\'s SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX. Besides including photography, I\'m working with an illustrator who has provided some pieces that go really well with the text. The second site, http://foodjunkets.com, is a food blog I recently started after I couldn\'t place a story I really wanted to tell. For both sites, I used my skills as a content manager and developer to arrange the content in a way that is appealing for internet readers. I also had to learn a decent amount of HTML while tweaking each respective Wordpress site until I got them both to where I wanted them to be.
