As Country Tax Manager at AkzoNobel India, I lead the organization’s tax strategy, governance, and compliance framework across direct and indirect taxes. My focus is on driving efficiency, ensuring regulatory alignment, and enabling sustainable business growth through proactive tax planning and risk management.With over 13 years of experience in domestic and cross-border taxation, I bring extensive expertise in tax advisory, compliance, litigation management, and transfer pricing. I am a Chartered Accountant with a strong foundation in tax treaty interpretation, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and global tax reporting.Before joining AkzoNobel, I headed the tax function at Constantia Flexibles and contributed to Aspen Technology’s India operations, where I played a key role in shaping tax-efficient structures and strengthening governance processes. My early professional experience at PwC and KPMG helped build a solid grounding in tax laws and strategic problem-solving.I am passionate about integrating tax strategy with business objectives, building collaborative cross-functional partnerships, and ensuring that organizations remain future-ready in an evolving regulatory environment.
