Consultant DBA UMB Bank• Build database models and identify high-level business rules for data models• Performance tuning and analysis of production SQL databases • Data migration using migration tools (SSIS, Red Gate and Microsoft Dynamics)• Data flow structure modeling including migration and archiving• Service restoration from database related system outages and slowdowns• Perform root cause analysis develop countermeasures for database incidents• Development and enhancement of database monitoring utilities • Data conversion, Application development code debugging and tuning of indexes• Write T-SQL codes and queries (index, tables, stored procedures, triggers) • Maintain complex ETL data flows between varieties of environments • Performance tuning and deploying database change scripts provided by third party vendors• Creating and editing stored procedures and views• DBA best practices and advisory role and create and maintain documentation• Work with Oracle team to support Oracle database migrations• Develop, tests, and maintain data interfaces between business applications in accordance with departmental standards. Perform analysis, design, coding, and maintenance of data imports and extracts.• Consult with Business Analysts and departmental key stakeholders on technical solutions and best practices. • Monitor and audit systems for effectiveness, throughput, and responsiveness.• Recommend changes as appropriate. Advise management on how to improve application environment and system performance. • Troubleshoot customer complaints related to system performance issues.• Develop and maintain data feeds for data warehouse and business intelligence systems.• Maintain effective communication with computer vendors, supply companies and key representatives from all departments for system development, implementation and problem resolution.• Serve on Deployment Committee to review and approve changes and enhancements to production systems.
