A sampling of accomplishments to-date (in no particular order)- Recipient of Top Performer award FY20 and FY21 - Completed and submitted application for Canada\'s Top Employers, as well as being a contributor to the creation of programs and initiatives that lead to receiving Canada\'s Top Small and Medium Employer 2022 and 2023 Awards - Lead Great Place to Work Certification Process/Best Workplaces in Canada List 2023 - Leveraged BambooHR - including Onboarding and Performance Management modules; training employees and Managers - Researched, evaluated, recommended and implemented our ATS (Greenhouse)- Integral in implementation phase of RRSP matching program - Researched and recommended self-insured short-term disability program options; policy creation lead to successful application for EI premium reduction - Successful in obtaining funding (x6) since 2019 for training initiatives through Canada-Ontario Job Grant (representing just shy of $100k in savings)- Worked with key stakeholders to develop and launch \'Learning Hub\' Sharepoint site; developed learning request form and process - Updates to Leave Policy to reflect new Unlimited Paid Time Off, Manager and Employee FAQ for launch, tracking mechanism to ensure tracking against statutory minimums per province, all pertinent prep and research for smooth roll-out in HRIS (BambooHR)- Development, and ongoing facilitation of our bi-weekly,\'Friday Forum\' series - Integral in recommending and implementing process improvements to aid in scaling the business - Continue to lead group benefits administration including recommendations for plan design/participation in RFP process (ultimately leading to carrier switch and implementation)- Contribute to recommendations to support the competitiveness of our various programs and offerings helping to retain and attract top talent in the industry

I\'d say my interest in team dynamics first developed through years of participating in competitive hockey. Anyone who has felt the thrill of competing on a successful team where all the pieces seemed to fit together seamlessly knows that there is more at play there than talent alone! This has become my lifelong curiousity - how to capture this at work.
