I have extensive experience in the areas of economic and community development. This experience includes the successful recruitment and retention of industry,the successful recruitment of knowledge based companies, the development of industry associations, the implementation of manufacturing extention programs, workforce development programs, the development of an affordable housing addition (17•••00sq ft. to 1800 sq. ft. homes), and other community related initiatives. I took the lead role in a community visioning process to develop a holistic implementation strategy to achieve concrete results to improve the community of Muskogee. I am involved in a number of statewide, regional and local economic development organizations. These include Treasurer of the Oklahoma Governors Economic Development Marketing Team, Vice Chairman of the Oklahoma Economic Development Council, Partner with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce Foreign Direct Investment Team, Member of the Tulsa Futures Regional Partnership, Past President of the Southeast Oklahoma Regional Economic Development Partnership and many others.
