ABOUT BRIEANNA REILLY

With over 25 years of experience across paramedicine, emergency management, and healthcare system transformation, I bring a career that bridges frontline service delivery, operational leadership, and strategic healthcare improvement.For 13 years, I worked as both a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) and Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), gaining extensive clinical expertise and a deep respect for the demands of ambulance operations. These years on the ground taught me how to lead in high pressure environments, support colleagues under stress, and deliver patient-centered care when every decision matters.Building on this foundation, I moved into senior leadership with the Canadian Red Cross, where I led national and regional teams in emergency response, mental health, and psychosocial support. I managed large-scale operations, developed trauma informed deployment models, and advanced community-based care during some of Canada’s most complex crises.A commitment to operational excellence, system readiness, and people-first leadership guides my career. Whether supporting paramedics in the field, coordinating large-scale emergency operations, or assisting physicians in redesigning care delivery, I focus on building resilient systems that prioritize both providers and patients.
