Bridget Galaty is an Economics PhD student at the University of California, San Diego. The Arthritis Foundation (AF) is a non-profit organization that advocates for patients diagnosed with arthritis and other rheumatologic conditions and diseases. Each summer, the local AF chapter hosts a 5-day summer camp for pediatric rheumatology patients (ages 8-15) in Deckers, CO. After participating for numerous years as an honorary camper, I was invited to become a Counselor-in-Training in 2013. In 2016, I was promoted to the position of Junior Counselor, and, in 2018, I became a full Counselor.
